This innovative insert is tailored for gravel riding and XC racing, offering outstanding puncture protection and impact absorption, allowing you to focus on your ride.
The Rimpact Gravel/XC insert addresses issues like punctures, burps, and blowouts when running low pressures. It enables you to run lower pressures for improved traction while maintaining bottom-out resistance, letting you push your limits on the track or in the backcountry without worry. Benefit from bottom sidewall support, rim protection, and a run-flat insert, all with minimal weight penalty.
Compatible with Clincher Tubeless rims and Hookless Rims, although caution is advised with Hookless rims as the inserts enable such low pressures that the Hookless technology may struggle to retain the tire, potentially causing blowouts. Always adhere to the minimum and maximum recommended tire pressures from both the tire and rim manufacturer.
For optimal performance, use the insert with sealant. Approximately 25% more sealant than the recommended amount is needed to ensure the insert's extra surface area is adequately coated. Our inserts are closed-cell and do not absorb liquid, but some sealant may cling to the outside, necessitating a slightly higher dosage. Sealant can be injected through Rimpact Valves or poured directly into the tire.
