DAVID CRAMER
Managing Director & Company Founder
David is one of the most successful and respected figures
in the Australian Cycling industry after nearly twenty
years involvement in both retail and wholesale. David
grew up with the advantage of the experience and industry
respect gained by his parents, Maurie and Norma, who were
proprietors of the iconic Melbourne bicycle store, Cecil
Walker Cycles. Sadly, Maurie has since passed, but David
has since taken on his father's drive, determination,
good judgement and love for the industry, to help him
build a business that is respected as much overseas in
Europe and Asia as it is here in Australia.
Born of the
old CWC imports, David made the move to create his own
importing and wholesaling company around ten years ago
and for many years worked almost as a one-man band, making
him very much the face and figurehead of Bikesportz Imports.
Now with the help of a growing, professional team, David
continues to drive the company forward, whether it be
from the wing-backed chair of his sweeping Braeside office,
hands-on out in the expansive warehouse, or at the trade
shows and board rooms of some of the most famous bike
brands in the world. Occasionally Norma still brings him
a packed lunch.
JONATHON NUNAN
National Sales & Marketing Manager
Jonathon joined Bikesportz in 2002 shortly after returning
to Australia from a six year stint working and racing
in the UK. There he most recently worked for Jim Walker
& Co., one of Britain's leading bicycle and p&a
wholesaler, distributors (somewhat similar to Bikesportz
Imports), as a Sales Rep for two years, where he covered
territories in the North, Midlands, East Anglia, the South
West and Wales. At the same time, Jonathon also worked
as a presenter on Granada Television's Lifestyle network,
mainly appearing on their shopping channel as an outdoor,
fitness and cycling expert.
Jonathon's time in the bike
industry commenced in 1997 when he started working at
the famous Manchester bike shop, Harry Hall Cycles. There
he helped to re-build their famous reputation for road
and touring bikes and as the leading cycle specialists
in the North of England. Jonathon is a mad cycling fan,
almost always immersed in facts, figures and gossip from
cycling magazines, websites and hours spent talking up
how good a track rider he used to be with anyone who'll
listen at 'Cafe Racer' in St Kilda.
Always more keen than
talented on the bike, Jonathon somehow manged to win national
medals on the track both here in Australia and in the
UK, including a British Championship in 2000.
Today, he
concentrates his energies on leading an enthusiastic and
professional team of Sales Reps and in-house Sales Consultants
here at Bikesportz, with the aim of building a group of
proactive business partners for the Australian Bicycle
Retail Industry. He still occasionally manages to ride
his Bianchi to work, when the weather is fine and the
wind is blowing in the right direction.

PETER BLACK
Operations Manager
Peter draws on a wealth of experience gained
from working in both bicycle retail in Perth and also
at the other end of the scale, where he was involved in
the engineering and development of bicycles at the R&D
and factory level.
Peter joined us in 2004 and has since
taken charge of the behind the scenes operational processes
and logistics administration at Bikesportz. He has also
revamped and improved the always difficult returns and
warranties process, to a point where generally, returns
have become a relatively straight forward and easy to
deal with aspect of our business these days.
Peter is an avid mountainbiker who has raced at National level
in Cross Country and still regularly takes part in Endros
and 24 hour races. Peter's work here reflects Bikesportz
determination to make the business of doing business all
the easier and more effective. He will have his work cut
out as we move towards EDI compliancy, scan packing, online
ordering in thecoming season.
Being chief "Boffin" and "blood-nut" here at Bikesportz is a big
responsibility, but somebody's got to swim through all
that paperwork. Being one of those 'off-roadie' types,
he doesn't care if the weather's fine or which way the
wind is blowing.

SHERYL CRAMER
Office Manager
They say that, "behind every great man is a great
woman", and this is certainly the case when it comes
to the Cramer team. Sheryl is the Office Manager here
at Bikesportz and makes sure that everything runs smoothly
at HQ and most importantly, that all the bills and the
staff get paid.
Sheryl is also the unofficial 'social
officer', organising all the Christmas parties and staff
functions. In a building largely filled with blokes, Sheryl
helps to bring a bit of glamour to HQ.

TAHNEE DERZSI
Receptionist
Neil has been here so long his shadow is burnt onto the
wall in his office. Just like Santa Claus, Neil decides
who has been naughty and nice when it comes to accounts,
and is certainly the number one man to keep happy here
at Bikesportz if you are a bike shop.
Neil is famously clockwork, reliable and a mind of information.
Neil not only handles all the inwards payments, but processes
most of the faxed orders, credits and sets up and approves
all the accounts.
It is almost uncanny the way that Neil
remembers account numbers, phone numbers and contact names,
often making him an easier point of reference for the
office staff than the computers themselves.

COLIN WILSON
Merchandising & Sales
Col is another long-serving member of the Sales Team
and has proven invaluable on the phone and also out in
the stores where he regularly spends time setting up merchandising
displays and point of sale. Colin is the guy who organises
most of our famous 'BBB' stands, which are now used for
many of our brands including a growing number which are
utilised for other wholesaler's products.
The merchandising displays have now been developed into many different forms
depending on the solutions required by the respective
stores, and Colin will often organise custom made stands
and displays to be made for shops. Colin is a real hands
on member of the team here who is always prepared to muck
in and help out in the warehouse and whatever needs to
be done during the day to day.
Col is also a bit of an 'artistic' type, spending two days each week pursuing
his studies at a Visual Arts course, so you won't always
get to speak to Col if you ring him. Whilst his 'BBB'
displays might be described as piece of art by stores
who benefit from our merchandising solutions, I'm sure
Col would rather you judge him on his work outside of
business hours.

RAY TURNER
Bianchi Sales Consultant
'Sugar' is certainly the character here at Bikesportz.
Ray is one of the best known racing identities in Victoria
having had an illustrious career on the road at National
level as a professional bike rider. He was well known
for his track pursuiting abilities. Even to this day,
Ray still races regularly with his beloved Footscray Club
and often features in the results both in open company
and in the 'vets'. Ray has even recently rediscovered
his track legs out at the new DISC velodrome in Northcote.
Ray is our Bianchi expert
and sales consultant and has grown very quickly to love
the passion and history of the famous Bianchi bike brand
and spends most of his day spreading the good word to
the Bianchisti. He has also been converted to the Campagnolo
fan club and will happily tell anyone who will listen
just how much better 'Campy' is than it's Japanese alternative.
He may wear some unusual hats and odd coloured socks,
and spends much of his time (literally) 'shadow boxing'
and practicing his cricket technique with carbon forks,
or whatever else comes to hand, but 'Bianchi Ray' is certainly
one of the best loved and most asked for people here at
Bikesportz, particularly when it comes to anything 'roadie'.
