The company was founded by it's current Managing Director, David Cramer, as a successor to the much loved and prominent Cecil Walker Cycles Imports, which itself was created in July 1987 as part of the Cramer family's well known retail outlet in Melbourne, Australia.

The growth in business and industry respect, here in Australia and around the World, for both David Cramer and the company he started 18 years ago, is clear to see. From the days of working out of the back office of his family's bicycle shop, to today, where a company of over twenty employees supply nearly a thousand retail outlets all over Australia with many of the World's leading bicycle and bicycle accessory brands.

From the moment you step into the foyer display area of BikeSportz Imports it is clear that this is not just another wholesaler. All our products are professionally displayed for both retail customers and consumers to view.

The offices that immediately surround the foyer are staffed by a professional and dedicated team who deal with all enquiries from wholesale to retail, marketing to shipping, warranties to sales and just about anything to do with a growing Australian Bicycle Industry.

A large, professional warehousing and logistics operation is coordinated by warehouse and dispatch staff who get literally thousands of BikeSportz products out to hundreds of retail customers every day. We are always working harder to improve order and dispatch systems and work closely with freight companies to see that the right goods get to the right people as quickly and correctly as possible.

Our professional Sales Team consisting of in-house product managers and field representatives work hard to not just sell and explain our products but also to build longstanding partnerships and relationships with all our customers.

Whether it be on the phones at Head Office, at Trade Shows and expos or out on the road and in the stores, BikeSportz is dedicated to seeing that all our brands are proactively promoted, explained and backed up.

We have invested heavily in developing multi-use and modular point of sale systems and displays for all our products and proactively distribute these to any store that wishes to professionalize their merchandising. As well as the annual Bicycling Australia Show, we are regularly involved at expos such as at the Melbourne F1 GrandPrix and at many of the top cycling and triathlon competitions.
