"We are proud of our seven decades

founder, Luigi Girardi. Today the founder's
grandchildren - Luigi and his brothers
Luca, Giovanni and Antonella - have Luigi's
dynamism along with the management of
Selle San Marco. They run the company
with the help of their enthusiastic parents
Antonio and Giuseppina, who are occupied
daily in the firm, thus maintaining the
spirit and passion of a classic family run
business.
"We are approaching 70 years in business,
seventy years of vast and constantly
increasing production, all of it in Italy," says
Luigi Girardi. "We developed and manufactured
famous saddles like the Regal, Rolls
and Concor, Era models, ridden by the
greatest champions of cycling. Every year
we've added new patents and solutions to
our collection, saddles designed to meet
every need of every cyclist."
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Over the years, Selle San Marco has been at the forefront
of new developments in the area of bicycle saddles. Some recent developments
include the patented Arrowhead Bicycle System® and the new
award-winning Magnesium System® - the first in the world
to use magnesium in the saddle.
