What are ROLLERS?
Rollers are most popular with track riders for their smooth, fast
spinning capabilities and jump on, jump off convenience, making
them perfect for spinning out the legs in warm-ups and warm-downs, pre,
post and in between events.
The other benefits of rollers apply to all cyclists,
as the extra balance and smooth technique required to ride them, forces
you to become a smoother and more efficient cyclist, which aids your ability
to ride faster, longer and with more control. You can also add a MAG unit
to some models to create road-feel resistance for strength training purposes.
As some coaches will tell you, the best way to ride rollers, is to not think too much and
just ride, as the same forces that keep you up-right on the road are the
same ones that keep you up on rollers.
