CicloSport runs its own R&D-department to offer you the latest innovation in the world of Sports Information Systems.
In 1980 CicloSport brought the first Bike computer to the market and combined it with an altimeter in 1985.
CicloSport introduced the first (and so far the only available) multi-functional device in 1997, the HAC4 - THE perfect wrist computer for all sorts of outdoor-activities like hiking, biking and parachuting. As a special feature the HAC4 allows you to evaluate all filed information by pc. It is also the most popular device for enthusiastic mountain bikers and tourers and all who want to get perfect information of their sport.
Just one year later the ALPIN "climbed" into the market. It offers a reliable weather forecast with a full bound of innovative alpine/mountaineering functions - tested and approved by several expeditions all over the world.
In 2000 CicloSport presented the first navigation-system - CicloNavic for bikers, which offers a lot more "tour-fun" to this group.
This year we have presented the optimum in wireless heartrate-monitors. The Digital Wireless Transmission (DWT) gets rid of interferences between you and other heartrate-monitor-users or power-lines.
By the way: Consumer-orientation is the major strength of CicloSport - all batteries can be change by the user itself. No posting, no extra-costs, no loss of guarantee - all this with a full three year guarantee.
