Company history
BikeSportz Imports this year celebrates its 10th Anniversary as one of Australasia's leading, premium suppliers and importers for the Australian Bicycling Retail Industry.
The company was founded by it's current Managing Director, David Cramer, as a successor to the much loved and prominent Cecil Walker Cycles Imports, which itself was created in July 1987 as part of the Cramer family's well known retail outlet in Melbourne, Australia.
The growth in business and industry respect, here in Australia and around the World, for both David Cramer and the company he started 18 years ago, is clear to see. From the days of working out of the back office of his family's bicycle shop, to today, where a company of over twenty employees supply nearly a thousand retail outlets all over Australia with many of the World's leading bicycle and bicycle accessory brands.

A family of brands
 BikeSportz prides itself with having one of the leading "families" of brands in the Australian bike industry. All of them are "A" brands or indeed, market leaders. The quality, image and strive for excellence here at BikeSportz is reflected in the brands that we represent.
With this collection of companies, we are able to offer to bicycle retailers an unsurpassed menu of products that cover the full spectrum of consumer needs and desires. From everyday requirements to pure exotica, from Europe's finest to Asia's best, BikeSportz represents them all.

The Bikesportz "Engine Room"
 A large, professional warehousing and logistics operation is coordinated by warehouse and dispatch staff who get literally thousands of BikeSportz products out to hundreds of retail customers every day. We are always working harder to improve order and dispatch systems and work closely with freight companies to see that the right goods get to the right people as quickly and correctly as possible.

Selling partnerships and products
 Our professional Sales Team consisting of in-house product managers and field representatives work hard to not just sell and explain our products but also to build longstanding partnerships and relationships with all our customers.
Whether it be on the phones at Head Office, at Trade Shows and expos or out on the road and in the stores, BikeSportz is dedicated to seeing that all our brands are proactively promoted, explained and backed up.
Investing in our dealers
Whilst all of our brands are market leaders and desirable to stores, we realise that this is not always enough to guarantee that our products will do well. It is how the products are presented in-store and merchandised that separates BikeSportz' brands from our competitors.
We have invested heavily in developing multi-use and modular point of sale systems and displays for all our products and proactively distribute these to any store that wishes to professionalize their merchandising. This gives our brands guaranteed visibility, prominence and priority in stores and allows us to also invest in the continuing prosperity of all our dealers who clearly benefit from these shop-in-shop displays.
Trade shows and expos
 As well as the annual Bicycling Australia Show, we are regularly involved at expos such as at the Melbourne F1 GrandPrix and at many of the top cycling and triathlon competitions.
